Many a time, we come across certain pieces - be it a ring, or earrings, or a necklace, that stop us in our tracks and take our breath away. These special pieces are filed away in our minds somewhere, waiting for someone to come to us so we can say "Well, we had this ring, with the most beautiful detailing, and we think its exactly what you are looking for."

With the recent interest in vintage jewelry, we feel that now is the time to unlock our mental vaults, and share some of the our most favorite pieces. Admittedly, for every piece that we have captured in a photograph, there are dozen others that we can only remember in our minds. Engraved Platinum 5-stone bezel setting

Stunning doesn't even begin to describe this exquisite engraved platinum 5-stone bezel setting! Substantial in weight yet delicate in appearance, the milgrained bezels are made as thin as possible, allowing the stones to shine while minimizing the amount of metal seen from the top view. But for all its face-up simplicity, the side view will stop you in your tracks with its fleur de lis cutouts and hand engraved detailing. This particular ring features a 3.64ct M, VS Antique Cushion center, with custom cut lab sapphire sides and 0.20ctw H/I, VS Old European cut diamonds.

The ring pictured features a 2.64 carat Antique Cushion cut diamond. The setting is platinum, using 1.3mm melee in a 1.8mm shank and 1.6mm halo, with split claw prongs. Can be custom ordered for any size or shape center stone.

The ring pictured above features a 3.06 carat Transitional cut diamond and is the epitome of vintage detailing. The setting is platinum, set with diamond melee and french cut sapphires. It is a vintage piece but can be reproduced for any size center stone.

ANTIQUE PLATINUM SCALLOP SETTING
There will be halos, and THERE WILL BE HALOS! The ring above is a classic example of how the style has been in existence since the turn of the century. The lines are graceful, and the overall look is very charming with the lovely heart motif basket. The effect of the scalloped head with super thin shank is extremely delicate and feminine, yet the ring feels substantial when worn. This particular ring features a 2.20ct L, SI2 Old European cut diamond and is a vintage piece. This setting can be reproduced for any size center.
